The MVG FWD ReFrame-work is a tool to help you build the practice of continually and consistently moving forward in your life. It focuses on six areas: motivation, values, gifts, framing, work, and dreams with the intention of bringing things to your attention that are changing or need to be changed in order for you to live a more fulfilled life right now.
In his book Courage is Calling Ryan Holiday writes “whatever you are not changing, you are choosing.” There are many reasons to change. There are always more excuses not to. The MVG FWD Reframe-work assists in identifying both so that you can control the change rather than the change controlling you. A change internally prepares you for changes externally.
Use the MVG FWD Reframe-work to put a label on a necessary change. Is it what motivates you? Is it a behavior not in line with your values? Is it to fully embrace a gift you have (an unopened gift is useless, an unused gift a waste)? Maybe the way you’re framing the story needs to change. Maybe the type of work you perform is no longer bringing you joy. Maybe a dream really isn’t your dream.
